Default Smokers of weed, tobacco, or vaping more likely to get Covid

    Coronavirus and Smoking

One study of people who had COVID-19 and were hospitalized with pneumonia found that the odds that the disease would get worse were 14 times higher for those with a history of smoking.

People who smoke are more likely to have chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and heart and blood vessel disease, which raises their risk of serious complications.

People who smoke are more likely to be reaching up and putting something they are holding in their hand out in public into their mouth to inhale from it... Seems to me a bit like somebody saying that folks who practice solo strangulation play may be more likely to die like David Carradine..
Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but rather we have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.

Do not believe on the faith of the sages of the past. Do not believe what you yourself have imagined, persuading yourself that a God inspires you. Believe nothing on the sole authority of your masters and priests. After examination, believe what you yourself have tested and found to be reasonable, and conform your conduct thereto.

Smoking Kills More Southerners, Study Finds
Cancer caused by smoking is more likely to kill Southerners, a new study finds.

The American Cancer Society study found the highest rate among men in Arkansas, where 40 percent of cancer deaths were linked to cigarette smoking. Kentucky had the highest rate among women — 29 percent.

Most of the 10 states with the highest rates of smoking-attributable cancer deaths were in the South, while most of the 10 states with the lowest rates were in the North or West.

The article does not say weed, or even marijuana is definitely a problem.

Marijuana does not seem to cause the problems we would assume it does. Maybe it is less smoking, or maybe there is something in the marijuana.... Or maybe the studies are just incomplete. I really do not know for sure, NOR DO YOU.

Actually, Hawkeye is never not high and only posts when he is. And he's on your team. Furthermore, tobacco smoking is more common among lower income, less educated people. That cross section favors so-called conservatives. Conservatives, by the way, are the least likely group to get vaccinated.

So what happens when a bunch of poor, stupid, manipulated Bible thumpers refuse to take health precautions during a global pandemic? Look around you.

At least they aren't smoking in airplanes anymore. And for that same reason everyone should be vaxed on airplanes and wear masks.
Nobody can claim a freedom to harm other people.

As joyous as your typical yellow finger hacking alcoholic puffing outside a bar seems to be, I'm not surprised they might
believe a gnarly case of covid could heighten the ecstasy.

You keep trying to take credit for educated whites. We are separate from you.
