    You will fit right in
Every human being deserves the right to their own body be it abortion, vaccinations, surgery, suicide or anything else.

FWIW, this same right is why it's difficult to force people to submit to psychological treatment unless adjudicated. Even then, it's usually a long, expensive process unless the person committed a crime.

In short, it's legal to be crazy as our reps in Washington continue to prove daily.

Agreed on Democracy but a Republic is better for a nation. Democracy and socialism are great on the town/tribal level when everyone who votes can attend the meetings and listen to presentations. At the national level it's better to have a rep sit in for us to better assess the issue. IOW, a Republic.

The Democratic Party proved how honest it was in the 2016 election.

No doubt you do love your party, Evince. That's great, but my advice is to not let love blind you to reality. No doubt you've had friends in love with someone who was truly bad for them and it turned out that they were.

The failures of the Republican Party, as with the Democratic Party, are their own. Blaming others for one's own mistakes is cowardly and dishonorable.

Why do you think both parties share no similarities whatsoever? That's a false belief.

It remains to be seen how this plays out, but I think the Republican party is searching to regain what little of a soul it had.
More than flirting. They are run headlong toward a cliff. Some have already gone over.

The Texas abortion law makes the Republican party look even more oppressive, even more misogynistic and even more out of touch. This is not good for them in the long run, especially in purple states/counties.

Mute, unthinking blobs of cells trying to grow a head inside the body of another human is none of the state's concern, and certainly not YOUR
    concern, fake Christian.

Suicide is connected to mental health

    It’s a result of symptoms

    So no

If your life’s end is painful

Massive drugs to end the pain

    Induced coma

They effect the same thing for the patient as suicide

I am for the right to die. Nobody is going to make have an extended painfilled joyless end to my life.
I'll decide, and if unable my living will explains what to do. Barring that I have a good buddy who I have entrusted
to have a nice little walk in the woods with me shooting cans.

Exactly. It was the Trump Wackadoodle Effect...and JPP has a lot of Trump wackadoodles.

OTOH, notice the margin is close. VP close in the Senate. About 40% of voters are independents. The parties will always carry their base but as we saw in 2016 and 2020, the parties can't make disaffected voters, even in their own party, come out and vote.

IMO, Trump's fucking up the COVID response, all the Insurrection trials and investigations and all the conspiracy theorist crap will turn a lot of Republicans into non-voters in the next 1-2 elections.

The sooner the Republican Party implodes, gets rid of Trump and the nutjobs, the sooner they can rebuild and run a sensible candidate as you posted. Unfortunately, the denial is still very strong in them. It'll take something major, meaning a lot of dead Americans, to make them come to reason.
