George Syer, a retired horse patrol coordinator in the Rio Grande Valley and Border Patrol supervisor, told National Review that the mounted agents were acting according to standard procedure and that the primary safety priority of riders is to prevent a collision between human and horse.

They use horses for crowd control in New York city and virtually every other major city in the US. Those people had no right to enter the country and if they needed a little non harmful persuading I'm good with it.

using horses in general is a little different, when used passively for crowd control, than charging women and kids who have lives of such desperation and poverty, in a scene so similar to slave days. where are the videos of these guys charging Mexicans and latinos under similar conditions?
