quite frankly if your concern was delta and other variants developing you would stop doing booster shots, stop bothering the unvaccinated here, and ship all excess vaccines to third world countries who will consume it as soon as they get it. Thats where the variants are developing.

keep the boosters for immuno-compromised,and comorbities, and over 65 if they want it.
other then that, send them where they can do some good

I understand Moderna's position. Moderna is not Pfizer. This asset is everything to them.
Having the government force you to hand over your entire business model without being compensated?

Someone needs to "pick up the tab" on that violation of the US Constitutional takings clause.
I am for achieving the end, the means needs to hold Moderna harmless, and not have it be a gift

It's going to be a combo vaccine anyways. No added burden. Just like those 3 in ones we all got as children. I used to like those.

Which flu shot to approve every year is determined by medical committees working on speculation. They gather data and try and make as good a selection as possible. Sometimes they pick wrongly. It is not the same shot every year. They see what kind of virus is gathering power across the world. Sometimes another one gets stronger. However, any flu shot will supply some protections.

Currently, California has administered 50 million doses of the vaccine and has the lowest transmission rate of the virus of any state in the nation.

I’m getting my flu shot, so I’ll ask my pharmacist when it’s safe to get the Covid booster.

I am actually not due until 10/15, but my physician says no need to wait. Being old has it's advantages. So now, triple vaxxed with natural immunity against Delta. I'm good to go!!!!
