Think I’ll put another “In God We Trust” sign in my classroom. Or maybe a “God Bless The USA” poster.
Reds are playing somebody, somewhere again, and extrapolating it into a national problem. It is illogical.

And here’s the rub… Republicans, at least in my state, are against any and all forms of public Ed. For public ed they seem to want to consolidate all small, rural schools into mega schools where kids have to be bussed from 30+ miles away and seem to be oblivious to the fact that the larger, mega schools seem to attract those sorts of teachers.
Now Stitt has called for an audit of the State Department of Education in obvious retaliation to the audit of Epic, which found some serious misuse of funds. They are alienating many of their supporters in small, rural schools…cutting off their nose (on this issue) to spite their face.
You have the political sophistication of a backwater rube, Earl.
Good teachers expose ideas for consideration.
Cracker teachers are the ones who try to indoctrinate.
This applies also to the youngest of children.
If you don't push them hard to think when they're young,
they'll become "believers" instead of analysts, and will thus add to the horrific problem that we have already.
Patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel. Samuel Johnson, 1775
Religion....is the opiate of the people. Karl Marx, 1848
Freedom's just another word for nothin' left to lose. Kris Kristofferson, 1969
Lose the schoolyard insults, Niffty. You aren't very good at them.
"Good teachers expose ideas for consideration."
True but telling students that America is evil is not exposing ideas for consideration...ii is indoctrination, a political agenda...brain washing.
This has been occurring in our universities for decades but college students are mature enough to decide for themselves. I did at Vanderbilt and rejected the America hating profs. there.
Teachers with political agendas are anathema to freedom loving Americans. You should be ashamed.
