    This is a good point.

BP: "Why pretend the Christian God is no less a cultural construction? Why pretend to be agnostic about that God?"
Jack: 'Agnostic' isn't 'culturally specific'. 'God' could take many forms.

Jesus, the 'Man-God', is pretty easy to dismiss. Every Emperor, Czar, Pharaoh, and King, claimed to be descended from 'God'. Not many believe that Storyline any more. Well, maybe the North Koreans.

I can only imagine 'God' as being a 'Creator Force'. Other than that, I have no idea.

So you believe Zeus is a real God, at least no one has proven Zeus does not exist?

I will refer you back to the definition of 'Agnostic'.

Then, what would count as proof that this "Creator Force" exists or not?

I tend to favor the Sun God.
(not sure if this is because the Sun God was the most adopted by the Ancients, ... or because I'm from Southern California?)

You said you were waiting for proof. I think I asked a pretty straightforward question about what counts as proof.

Well, there's lots of things that would be 'proof'.
'Evolution' is proved because of the weight of the evidence.
So far, I'm an agnostic on the Question.

You seem to be certain of something. Care to explain? Or is it too complex and technical for the Little People?

I am not an agnostic. And I do not think the existence of God is even the right way to think about God. That was invented around 1400 to force people to join the Church.

Therefore, when someone says they believe in natural law, in god, in a certain moral code, I myself cannot really quibble with that, or proceed to explain to them how wrong they are.

    Just my two cents
The laws of motion are natural laws that give researchers a place to start experiments. There are a few boundaries that normally can't be violated but can evolve.

'God/Gods' have been around since Man evolved. Every Culture on the Planet has their own 'Storyline' of how everything was 'Created'. They are all very fanciful, creative, interesting, and tell something about the Locals.
You seem to be stuck in some 'Christian' mindset of what 'God' is.
