I still appreciate George Will, Bill Kristol, David French, Jonah Goldberg, and all of the other commentators who became exiles under Trump. It would be nice to have Buckley around just to get his reaction, because, it would have carried actual weight.

Granted, I haven't read a single word of theirs since they all vanished from NR. I think the fact that Kevin D Williamson is still there is a testament to the fact that he handled his opposition to Trump in a healthy manner, by not appearing to change his actual conservative ideology.
