Trump - America's Domestic Enemy

A President is supposed to defend the country against "...all enemies, foreign and domestic...". Enter domestic enemy Donald Trump, doing what he can to undermine America's life blood - it's democracy. Without evidence of his own and against a figurative mountain of counter evidence he attacked the election he lost by a wide margin as "rigged". Now he is already attacking the California recall election as rigged when every indication is that the Governor, who Trump wants to lose, will win and win by an even wider margin than Biden's was over Trump. Every poll, and there are several, has Newsom ahead well outside the margin of error. Vegas odds give him a 75 percent chance of victory. Newsom could still lose of course. The polls could all be wrong. But Trump, and the lackeys who parrot him on Fox and elsewhere are not saying that. They are saying Newsom can't win a fair election. He can win only by cheating when any sensible person looking at the lay of the land would see that cheating is probably the only thing that could cause him to lose. What Trump is doing would be merely disgraceful if few citizens were heeding him, but many are heeding him. They are damaging the American system, and seem not to care.

At some point, history will judge Trump to be the worst president we've ever had...and almost certainly will consider his conduct to be treasonous.

He should be tried, found guilty, and imprisoned. I rather suspect that will not happen.

I don't think there is a greater threat to our future right now. Even another Trump campaign will be very damaging for the country. If he wins? We probably won't recover.
