It's a shame. They were painted as superheroes last year and now they have to quit to avoid taking a sketchy "vaccine."

I always wonder where they will find work? What kind of a facility will they work for that doesn’t require their workers to be vaccinated?

Most likely in some other medical field where the employer has under 100 on staff, such as research, medical records, etc. Many of them could be looking at a possible career change in some cases.

You are right. Labor and delivery is one of the most coveted positions in the hospital; they'll have no problem finding staff to replace them. As a retired health care professional, I say shame on those nurses. Our first duty is *always* to our patients. If we are not protecting them against infection, we are violating the oath we took.

Quite possibly but you cannot force people to work if they don't want to. It's their choice basically. They can always find work in another industry and if enough people get fed up with the quality, you will have change for the better in higher wages, better benefits packages, etc.

Btw I do know before they can graduate from nursing/medical school, certain level of standards have to be met or they don't graduate, so there is a baseline that has to be met.
