Default Finally some good news from Florida, Crist virtually tied with DeSantis in new Poll

The race is still within the margin of error

U.S. Rep. Charlie Crist narrowly leads Gov. Ron DeSantis in a hypothetical head-to-head matchup, according to the latest survey from St. Pete Polls.

The results come as DeSantis continues to face criticism for his COVID-19 response amid a major surge in cases and hospitalizations that is making Florida the epicenter of the pandemic.

While his lead is barely within the poll’s 1.6% margin of error, 45% of respondents indicated they’d vote for Crist, a Democrat who formerly served as Governor as a Republican, while just 44% said they’d cast a ballot for DeSantis. Another 11% are still undecided.

That’s a big step up for Crist who, in previous polls, was trailing DeSantis by as much as double digits.

now that would be something to see - DeSantis humiliated, political future in tatters, only ally left is DJT and for sure he won't know who DeSantis is if Crist wins

Joe Biden Now Has A Higher Job Approval Rating In Florida Than Ron DeSantis

The COVID surge in Florida is putting Gov. Ron DeSantis’s reelection hopes in jeopardy, as Joe Biden is now more popular in the state than DeSantis.

A new StPetePolls survey of the state found that when asked, only 43.7% of respondents said that the governor was doing a good job, and 48.5% said that he was not. In contrast, 48.8% of those asked agreed that President Biden is doing a good job, and 45.7% disagreed.

Gov. DeSantis has refused to consider a mask mandate or restrictions on businesses, even as hospital wards are overflowing due to new coronavirus cases.

DeSantis may be putting himself on the same course as his hero Donald Trump. The Florida governor is also eyeing a run for the White House in 2024, but if COVID continues to rage out of control in his state, he might lose his reelection campaign to former governor/current congressman Charlie Crist.

Majority of Americans in new poll say it would be bad for the country if Trump ran in 2024

The survey, conducted by Quinnipiac University, found that 60 percent of respondents said it would be bad for the country if Trump were to launch a bid for president in 2024.

Thirty-two percent of respondents, however, said another Trump campaign would be good for the country.

Forty-nine percent of respondents polled said they think Trump will ultimately run for president in 2024, with 39 percent saying he will not. Twelve percent said they did not have an opinion.

I think as things get worse in Florida, Crist’s numbers will increase.

Florida already knows Crist is a good Governor - he already served one term as a Republican. No scandals, no controversies. He did a good job.

Florida would be wise to bring him back, and now is the perfect time. Wish they would hold the election tomorrow.

I wonder what Charlie Crist has to say for himself?

Desantis will win easily as he gained many votes calling Biden out for allowing unvetted aliens to enter the country while touting Florida to change their mandates. They Hypocrisy of Biden is at a level never seen before. We were just in Jacksonville for a week and they love their governor there
