Looks like the GOP is embracing fascism. I never liked the GOP, but they are now a threat to the rule of law.

If right wing authoritarian leaders in the WH, House, and Senate can 'win the game', the rank and file are all in, every one of them. to them politics is just another sport, like football. think of an Alabama Crimson Tide fan....couldn't care less if a wanted felon was coaching, as long as he wins the SEC championship. that's why is wouldn't matter one bit if Trump actually did shoot someone on 5th Av

still waiting for Joe to finally drop all this talk of bipartisanship....quietly......then map out the most ambitious campaign since FDR to get most of these fucks out of government

Default Republican ‘law and order’ hypocrisy is off the charts

Republicans used to be the party of “law and order,” denouncing Democrats for being weak on crime. They now demonstrate on a near-daily basis their indifference to law enforcement and contempt for those who enforce laws against their political allies.

The GOP has conveyed martyr status on Ashli Babbitt, who was killed as she charged the police and the House chamber with the rest of the violent mob. Republicans lionize her — not the police who were willing to sacrifice their lives to protect them.

Nor can Republicans be bothered to express remorse when real heroes from Jan. 6 die after the fact. The number of officers who died by suicide in the wake of the attack rose to four this week with the announcement of the deaths of officers Kyle DeFreytag and Gunther Hashida.

Biden is no dope. But he needs to stop playing "Hear no Evil" and get to work.

Default Trump tried to stage a coup. By denying it, the right is laying the groundwork for an

Trump’s incitement of the Jan. 6 mob (“We are going to have to fight much harder”) was only the culmination of what was, yes, a coup attempt. It failed only because so many Republican officeholders and the nation’s top military officers refused to do Trump’s bidding. But we can’t count on similar forbearance in the future given the ongoing purge from the GOP of all politicians who put loyalty to the Constitution above loyalty to Trump.

have heard a lot of pundits say 1/6 was a trial run..........of course if it had succeeded DJT would have been ecstatic....... but the coup attempt definitely layed the groundwork for 2022 and 2024, super charged the Big Lie strategy to justify insurrection once again

He is too dumb and too rude to debate. That is why he is heading for the most ignores on the site. He has nothing to do but swear and call names.

I hope the left just keeps talking and posting. It is a record of their mental instability.
