So? If the election was on the up and up, there's no problem so let the Republicans chase their tail, so-to-speak.

So, I take it you are worried they might actually find something, hum?

They are. No problem although I don't think just anybody has access to the ballots, voting machines, etc. just because they want access.

It's the state legislature. They have roughly the same power over state matters Congress does at the national level. If they want election materials, the counties better cough them up.

I'm sure state law covers all those issues.

Let the state legislature audit the election although some already do this automatically. And, let the House investigate the January 6 insurrection. Nothing to hide in either case.

I'm sure if it doesn't they'll just make some shit up. That is what politicians and the courts seem to do these days...

Nothing new is going to be turned up that will overturn the election. There’s nothing positive coming from this. It doesn’t matter what happens, those who think Trump didn’t lose will never be convinced otherwise.

Okay... No harm, no foul. Let the Republicans chase their tail. The worst course is to resist them if there's nothing to hide.

To each his own but I view this as a lose lose scenario. There’s nothing good of this coming for the country and nothing good for the Republican Party.
