We knew this. That's why trump NEEDED to win. With Barr running interference, he was basically above the law.

My, how life is different when you are ousted from office.

I mean, imagine if Biden had said that - or Obama, or Clinton.

That should be in the dictionary as an example of extreme corruption. That's as swampy as the swamp gets. Trump is a corrupt politician, down to his core.

I've been citing Hillary quite a bit this week on this board.

I use it as a teaching aid for those who continue to defend the terrorists.

    It's a discussion ender.

    At last!

This is what Republicans have been waiting for!

    Valid evidence of election fraud.

Unfortunately for them, the person caught trying to falsify the election was Trump himself!

He has been a con man grifter his whole life, so no big surprise he's a crooked politician.

    Drain the swamp, indeed.

More like drain the last vestiges of credibility out of the Republican Party.

    NO!

That would make him a martyr for the right.

He needs to be busted, tried, convicted, sentenced, do time.

That's the best ending to the Trump era.

And his whole crooked family, too!

Considering the last "bombshell prosecution" involved someone not declaring a parking space on his tax returns, this is probably of less substance.

Do you eejits ever get tired of your "bombshells"?

trump's lawyers will keep any litigation in the courts for decades. That's how he got away with not paying any contractors. It will be great to drag him through public depositions, news releases, humiliations etc, but we'll never seem him in prison.

I'd rather that he just shrivel up and die, and the country move on. As long as he's alive, he'll be stealing money from the under educated, and using it as leverage against the Republican party.

The naked truth is that they know he did this. The don't care, because they don't care about the country. They want to 'get the libs' because they perceive this phantom group to be different than them. They continue bring up gender identification, race, and religion as measuring sticks for their hatred. I thanked this post because it represents a probably common view, but we don't know the future and all things are possible. I am holding out hope that he will be brought to justice.

    It could happen.

It would be awesome if it did.

I've been acutely aware of trump since the 80s. There is nothing about him that I didn't know before he became POTUS.

'Justice' is subjective. For a maniacal narcissist like trump, nothing is worse than public humiliation, and failure before the masses. Being forced to give depositions to those who will lay bare all of his secrets, will do him in. Sure... a perp walk would put him over the edge, and a mug shot without a comb over would literally kill him.

If he has a massive coronary before a verdict is rendered, justice will have been done.
