No it isn't. Those are conveniences that are unnecessary to the voting process. Allowing partisan bodies to run the election is dangerous. HR 1, as I've pointed out, is just a massive opportunity to open elections to voter fraud on a mass scale. Have you even read it?

We should start requiring proof of citizenship when a person registers to vote.

HR 1 and SR 1 nixes both of those ideas.

Sec 1004 Ends a requirement to even show ID to register to vote. You can simply "attest" to who you are when registering.
Sec 1621 Allows for ballot harvesting, internet voting using an e-signature (sec 1101 allows registration to vote that way too), and no voter ID to vote in person or get a mail-in ballot.
Sec 1041 Makes it nearly impossible to remove someone from voter rolls.

So, it passes, we're going to get lots of voter fraud.

there is noting wrong with preventing drop boxes in unsecured locations........preventing any possibility of tampering should be patently obvious to even the dimmest dem......black polling places are chosen by local government election officials who, in black communities, will be elected by the blacks who vote......where does racism come into play?....

Correct. Forcing someone to obtain an ID is unnecessary. They can prove residence with many other documents, and those documents ARE required to register and vote. So the entire Voter ID meme is meaningless. There is no significant organized voter fraud. It is a non-existent problem. Completely made up by citing the rare anecdote. Frankly, in most cases, the persons committing this fraud are Republicans.

this shouldn't be difficult to understand......you produce documents to register to vote.......you produce ID to show the official in charge of the voting booth that you are the person who registered......there can only be one reason to object to that.....if you want someone besides the person who registered to cast the vote.....how can you claim it significant that no one has ever been caught doing it in states which do not check to see if anyone is doing it.....

Our election system is checked after every election. It is a very clean system with near-zero cheating. I gave you stats on how much voter ID fraud has been found. It is near zero, like your ability to understand is.

That is a lie, mail in voting is probably mostly honest but no one actually knows the registered voter marks that ballot and sends it back in. As we saw in Wisconsin and Minnesota this past election, mail ballots were hand delivered after the originals had be marked incorrectly.

The fact is no investigation ever showed it was a problem that people assumed someone's identity to vote. The fact that you are pushing it shows how comfortable you are with cultivating lies to hurt Dem voters. From 200 to 2014 there were 31 cases of voter impersonation. That is .00006 percent. It is not a problem
