    A nonsense statement.

And what does listing nations have to do with anything???

Technology does not change what a steam engine is or it's requirements.
It takes a long time to start a steam engine. They still consume fuel. The engine is inherently more dangerous due to problems with potential water starvation while running.

You do not get to choose what kind of car people want to drive. You are not the king.
Capitalism has destroyed wealth & culture in the USA since about 1970.

Millennials make 20% less in real wages vs Boomers at the same age.

The Capitalist scumbags would rather trade with Semi Communist China with Human rights abuses.

I listed some hybrid Socialist economies which have dominated economic growth in the past 100+ years.

Never been able to understand Doris she spouts so much BS yet her hubby used to work for an oil company.

Ah...the journal Nature. This is your problem, that you believe a rag like that. You might as well read Wikipedia or the National Enquirer.

Since the 1970s the Capitalists have destroyed wealth for the USA.

They'd rather hire foreigners at American workers expense.

There is no evidence that Capitalism is economically superior over hybrid systems.

Come to think of it the USA id a hybrid system too.

    Bullshit!!

With 36,000 restaurants in 119 countries serving 69 million customers a day, it's an accepted fact that McDonald's holds enormous sway over consumers' eating habits, food production and prices.

McDonald's is now the biggest purchaser in the world of beef, pork, potatoes, lettuce and tomatoes, and the second-biggest buyer of chicken, after KFC.

When it decided to add apple slices to Happy Meals a few years ago, the company quickly became the biggest buyer of the shiny red fruit in the United States.

Analysts expect the chain to soon become a power in kale as well, if its tests with the leafy vegetable – reportedly under way in Canada – are successful.

Indeed, every tweak to its menu has a butterfly effect, sending ripples that reverberate all the way to the dinner table, from the price of your meal to how it gets to your plate.

Isn't that the purpose of Biden for curtailing oil production? If that's not the reason, why does he want to reduce oil production in the U.S. and buy more from the M.E. ?

The reason, for the second time at least, is that I have no problem. I don't give fuck where my oil comes from as long as I can put gas in the tank. For the fifth time, why is Biden CURTAILING oil production in the U.S. only to have to buy more from the M.E. ? Now you claim it has nothing to do with trying to unchange the climate . If you can't explain, I understand.

But McDonald's doesn't buy from just any supplier. They have surprisingly high standards that every one of their suppliers has to meet and maintain to continue to provide them product. So, their supply chain is very much not a public one, but an internal corporate arrangement.
