The Insurrection makes total sense when you consider that a bunch of delusional Trump followers believed a lie, The Big Lie, that was prepared BEFORE THE ELECTION in anticipation of him losing, which he did.
What kind of person goes into an election saying: "If I win it is a good fair election, but if I lose it was rigged!"
You can't have it both ways.
But that's Trump, always trying to cover all the bases.
Nobody can cover all the bases.
No amount of money can cover all the bases.
It doesn't matter how rich a baseball player is. The bases are too far apart. The distance a human is able to spread their feet is insufficient to be on all the bases at once. That's why baseball is played by a team. It can't be just one person.
That is a lesson the Republican Party has failed to grasp. They've put all their eggs in one basket. The sad basket of deplorables.
