that's not my argument. you're ignoring the house, which represents the people. the senate WAS the states representation, now it's a majority party representation of each state.
A sad commentary on we, as a people, and our viewpoint of our freedom can be summed up like this. We have liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans, yet those very people look at Constitutionalists as radical and extreme.................so those liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans must believe that the constitution is radical and extreme.

irrelevant and not on topic. you complain about that enough. yes or no, the majority now elect the senators of each state.

so, unlike in the past, where state legislatures picked senators to represent each state, now the senators are picked by a majority of people, or a political party. so they are not representing the state, are they?

I am addressing the issue, you're pretending not to know what the issue is

The popular vote in each state elects the federal Senator. What is it we are disagreeing on?

    No, he wouldn't.

That's Jacques Littlefield (now deceased). He owned one of the largest collections of running fully functional tanks on the planet. He had more tanks than most nations did. The government didn't come and arrest him for being a criminal.

When he died, he had amassed a collection of over 200 tanks (plus other vehicles), including many first-line modern tanks like a T-72 or a Leopard I and M 60A3.
