Default Four cops will testify at the first Jan. 6 committee hearing

The House select committee investigating the deadly pro-Trump invasion of the U.S. Capitol will hold its first hearing Tuesday.
The panel will hear directly from four law enforcement officers about their struggles to defend the Capitol from the mob

The hearing on Capitol Hill is set to start at 9:30 a.m. ET with opening statements from Homeland Security Chairman Bennie Thompson, D-Miss., and Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo

The panel will hear directly from four law enforcement officers about their struggles to defend the Capitol from the mob of former President Donald Trump's supporters who stormed the building on Jan. 6 in a failed effort to stop Congress from confirming Joe Biden's electoral victory.

The hearing on Capitol Hill is set to start at 9:30 a.m. ET

    Thanks for the information.

Let's see whose side the GOP is on. Will they claim those cops deserved to get beat up?

Apparently these police officers didn't think that this was just a week-end fun situation.

I'm glad Speaker Nancy got rid of Jordan and Banks, it would have been a clown show with them on the committee?!!

Yep. You know who D'nesh D'sousa is? On his program, during the cops previous testimony, where the cops were crying - he was making cartoonish whining and animal sounds. I hope, someday, I find myself alone with that guy in an enclosed space, like an elevator - the first thing I'd do would be to disable any surveilance cameras. Then I'd get busy with the tune up. Oh, that would be nice. Tucker or Cruz, or Rand Paul.. mmm.. I would like that very much!
