The publicly anti-vax but privately fully vaccinated Fucker Carlson deserves a comeuppance.

I do think calling someone the worst human on the planet blunts some of the effectiveness of the diatribe.

To me it is an reprehensible ethical failing to use your public platform to spread anti-vax propaganda to your audience, but then sneak off surreptitiously with your family to get vaccinated yourself.

Once pundits, politicians and pissants start advocating violence as a first resort, not a last resort, then violence will happen. The old saw about a "bad things come In 3's" isn't true from an objective point of view. OTOH, there's the Werther Effect and once a human trend starts, there are copycats eager to follow suit. In this case, once someone assassinates a popular figure, other assassinations will follow. This happened in the 1960s and today's toxic environment may see a few shootings of popular figures too.

The toxic environment of anger, hate and frustration heated up by the lies of Republican politicians and Fox News personalities is bad enough, but mix in political extremists seeking to "go out with a bang" and it's a potent mixture.

Personally, I'm betting that the militias will seek revenge against those who promised them pardons and then left them hanging under Federal terrorism indictments.
