Trump gave birth to a large number of the right’s mistrust regarding anything related to Covid, from there, the right wing media carried it further, demagoguing anything coming from the CDC while sources on social media created innuendo and conspiracies regarding the vaccine.
Today, Trump could be a major influence over those refusing the vaccine if he publicly encouraged and campaigned for its use, however, we all know he won’t that do that because it would look good for Biden if Covid did fade, everything was always all about himself regardless how many times he humped the flag
