Senate elections are state wide election Presidential elections are national.

What we call Presidential elections are actually elections of Electoral College Electors. They are statewide elections of state level officials, while Senate elections are statewide elections of federal level officials.

The state has absolute control over how it elects Senators as long as the constitutional requirements are met.

There is mixed federal, state, and local control of the elections. There is not absolute control by any level or branch.

Methinks you missed what I consider the major point ... this case is NOT about Donald J Trump or the 2020 election ... it is about a Georgia election and Georgia citizens. Different ball game here folks.
