SSIA. (If my poll options do not fit your position perfectly, or you don't wish to go on public record, you can note that in your response and then state, and elaborate upon, your position).

IF you choose to give a "2 sexes, X number of genders" response, then I have strict rules that your responses must adhere to, otherwise they will be dismissed on sight for failure to follow thread rules:

[1] You CANNOT make use of other people's arguments (e.g. Wikipedia, livescience.com, or any other "holy link" or cut/paste type response). You MUST form your own arguments in your responses to me because I want to know what YOU think, NOT what someone else thinks.

[2] You MUST clearly and unambiguously define (and distinguish between) the words "sex" and "gender".

[3] You MUST "solve for X"... IOW, you MUST provide me with a specific number of "genders" that a human can be, and elaborate upon WHY that is the case, as opposed to any other possible number of "genders".

IF you instead choose the "2 sexes, gender is a spectrum" response, then you likewise need to follow rules #1 and #2, but skip over rule #3 and instead adhere to rules #4 and #5, as listed below:

[4] You MUST clearly and unambiguously define the word "gender spectrum", specifically noting the boundaries of said "gender spectrum" (iow, what is way on the left end of it and what is way on the right end of it).

[5] You MUST walk me through, in a step by step manner, precisely how I would make use of this "gender spectrum" (as defined in rule #4) so that I can determine precisely where I happen to fall on it. (iow, how would I go about determining what my precise gender is?)

I don't expect anyone who denies biology to be able to handle this...

Suppose someone posts a stupid THREAD TOPIC with rules- and no one shows up to respond!

WE DON'T NEED NO STINKING THREAD RULES TO FOLLOW!

    BUT GOOD LUCK!

There are more than just XX and XY. XXY for example.

    Gender is a social construct.

Genders are what society assign to individuals. Also there are intersex people. In Hawaii, there have a name for a third gender.

It would be kinda nice to be both. Especially when people tell me to go F* myself...

I've long since given up trying to please the Lefties in their accusations and tirades of Identity Politics.

This doesn't at all define what "gender" is, but it does tell me that you view "gender" as someone's perception based opinion of someone else. IOW, it's just made-up hooey that isn't in the slightest bit based in biology...

So? Abnormality does not change nor remove normality. Abnormality does not change what is true in principle.

Actually it does. MRI studies suggest that transgender people identify as the opposite sex.

You asked the questions in your OP. You got my answers.

    Irrelevant to the OP.
You asked then tell me it's irrelevant?

Wow, lefties REALLY do not like this thread... Would it have anything to do with the below-mentioned by any chance??

** Having to go on public record as being a science denier.
** Having to follow a few rules which encourage intelligent discussion that MAY be in opposition to one's religious dogma (IOW, no insult-riddled "kiddie pools" allowed)

Nope. This is a warning: You remain in violation of rule #2. You need to clearly and unambiguously define (and differentiate between) the words "sex" and "gender" before we can move forward.

What certain transgender people happen to believe about themselves is irrelevant to the OP.

How many sexes (or "genders") do humans have? Answer, then elaborate per my thread rules.

I already explained. Sex is the biological aspect. Gender is the social aspect.

XX, XY, XXY and such are a part of the biological sex.

Gender is what society assigns to individuals. It is what transgender identify themselves as. Keep in mind that those people make up under 1% of the population.

    Consider "man" and "male".

"Man" and "woman" are only nouns, though they can be used as attributive nouns: "The Man Show," "it's a woman thing," etc. A man is just referring to the person ("That man did something"). 'Male' is referring to the gender ("Males are more tough than females").

What certain transgender people believe about themselves is irrelevant to the OP.
I never used the word "believe".

How many sexes (or "genders") do humans have? Answer, then elaborate per my thread rules.

According to the young folk, there are two sexes, there are manifold genders. To the new generation, gender =/= sex. You are assigned a sex at birth, and if it coincides with your gender, like most folks, you are then CIS Gendered.
Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but rather we have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.
