NATO has become an offensive org, not defensive.
We are running warships in the Black Sea, we are running up on Crimean waters (restricted area)
we are expanding upto Russian borders.

What would be our reaction if Russia was doing that to us?
NATO is fine -NATO expansion is destabilizing

NATO expansion isn't like manifest destiny. NATO expansion is confrontational -and the more the expansion the greater the confrontation..we are flying bombers off Russia coast, varous US warships in the Black Sea

Putin says West taking Russia's 'red lines' too lightly
    https://www.yahoo.com/news/putin-say...135208632.html
Kremlin said in September that NATO would overstep a Russian red line if it expanded its military infrastructure in Ukraine, and Moscow has since accused Ukraine and NATO of destabilising behaviour, including in the Black Sea.
In the televised speech, Putin complained that Western strategic bombers carrying "very serious weapons" were flying within 20 km (12.5 miles) of Russia's borders.

"We're constantly voicing our concerns about this, talking about red lines, but we understand our partners - how shall I put it mildly - have a very superficial attitude to all our warnings and talk of red lines," Putin said. NATO - with which Moscow severed ties last month - had destroyed all mechanisms for dialogue, Putin said.

OK ... how many nations were originally in NATO ... ??? How many are there today ... ???

Flying bombers of each others coast has been going on for as long as you have been alive ... nothing new here.

"very serious weapons" ... YEP a conventional bomb is indeed "very serious" ... just ask ALL the cities bombed in WW2 by BOTH sides. Methinks they would ALL agree.

RED LINES have been in the news since mohamar ...

    That's not Putin's problem. It's Ukraine's problem.

I doubt that he will run up against much serious resistance. I'm sure the west will whine a lot though.

We'll see what happens the next time Putin sees an opportunity to push further into Ukraine.

NATO was wrong to steal Kosovo from Serbia. That doesn't mean that NATO is all bad, but they were certainly the bad guys that time.

I can't see how anyone has the right to complain when Putin merely does the same thing to Georgia and Ukraine that NATO did to Serbia.

Facts are facts. I can't help it if the truth is inconvenient.

You're promoting a narrative. Not the facts. Try to learn the difference before you bloviate.

I'm not sure what "promoting a narrative" means, or if I am doing such a thing, but you are wrong about me not presenting facts.

It is a fact that NATO broke the law when they took Kosovo from Serbia.

It is a fact that "Russia taking territory from Georgia and Ukraine" is not any different than "NATO taking Kosovo from Serbia".
