What will earth become over the next 100 years?

How much longer will the oceans be a source of food?
When will the US break up into different nations?
    Can humans survive nuclear war?
    Will socialism replace capitalism?
    Is a reset inevitable?

I'm profoundly grateful that I won't need to know.

But socialism and capitalism are not a binary choice. They exist concurrently in EVERY economy.

A more safely and justly regulated but still private sector along with a more comprehensive public sector that strengthens the social safety net --hopefully.
Or we could have total dystopia which seems to be our current direction.

Our current direction will be forced to change. I don't see technology as the answer, it has to come from people power. Young people are not afraid of socialism.

Young people who know what it actually means are not afraid of it.

Fewer Middle Americans travel abroad than do coastal Americans. They just have further to go, and perhaps have less interest as well.
Thus, they do not see how well people live in nations with more balanced economies.

Red states get hit the hardest by our current economic policies. Family farms cannot compete with multinational corporations raping the land, not to mention the problems with insecticides and GMO seeds. Something's gotta give.
