what good would stop and frisk do if the state is a dumbass NRA red state where you can open carry or concealed carry without any permit or license? do you have a clue?

It’d find those in possession of unregistered weapons that many of you are certain come from states with “looser” gun laws, thus getting them off the streets for one thing.

Im acting suspicious and some LEO spots a bulge in my drawers and decides I’m not just “happy to see someone,” then asks about it. I present and they check the numbers and necessary paperwork depending on the state I’m in.

I don’t like the above scenario but would almost be OK with it … almost … if it would get the gun banners to back off. But, like some other things, I really want them to press this issue hard up to the 2022 election.

Another thought, you might want to visit one of hose “red states” with open carry. People aren’t walking around Dallas like it’s the Wild West. They really aren’t.

Edit: One more thing…. We really don’t depend on the NRA to tell us what to think or who to vote for. We can read and hear the stances of candidates ourselves. In most cases the NRA is looked at as a necessary evil as they are our loudest voice at the capital but many of us do not like them because they are too willing to compromise rights away. I personally like GOA better.
