“If we have to have a choice between being dead and pitied, and being alive with a bad image, we’d rather be alive and have the bad image.”
— Golda Meir
Zionism is the movement for the self-determination and statehood for the Jewish people in their ancestral homeland, the land of Israel.

The one challenge I see whether it's discussing CRT on here or to a degree on social media is how people define it. Because if people see it as meaning different things then it's hard to come to an agreement about challenging it.
I probably spend more time reading about it than I should so I'm familiar with what's going on at places like the Dalton School (and others) in NYC and Brentwood (and others) in L.A. and the pushback against it from progressive parents.
But most folks I'm guessing don't really know what CRT entails. Some think it simply means teaching more about our (racial) history and thus view it as a good thing. So when they hear 'ban CRT' they don't buy into it. CRT as has been used in the classroom is far more than that but people aren't going to really know.
And it may have roots in Marxist ideology, and it's not wrong to point that out, but I don't think that turns people against it either. The focus should be examples of how it's being used in the classroom and more that what it's teaching is driving people apart and against each other, not bringing people together (if that is supposedly the goal).
They hate CRT because it ruins the myth of American exceptionalism that they use to justify their complacency.
It's the same reason why they hated Obama so much for saying "you didn't build that"; these people have it in their heads that they're rugged individualists who are solely responsible for their current station in life. If it turns out that station was achieved largely thanks to a system set up for them to succeed, then they can't really credit their self-evaluated work ethic; that also has the effect of diminishing their accomplishments, and they need those accomplishments in order to justify their underwhelming complacency.
They will posture that they worked hard their entire life, but what they fail to acknowledge is that "working hard" doesn't mean the same thing when uttered by people who had a hand out and leg up because of their race.

The problem with focusing on examples from a classroom is they lack context. A teacher may use 1 assignment or discussion topic to acknowledge an extreme but the students who engage in that class daily will understand that but those that only see that example won't/can't.
This is where CRT becomes an easy target for propaganda from Fox (for example).
My advice Republicans? Stay the course on everything you do, your affliction with culture war disease, your selection of stupid candidates, your obvious cheating and lawlessness, the wholesale disregard of conservatism in plain daylight for all to see, your forgiveness of all the moral failings and lack of family values of all your pols, your appeal only to the old and white people and none of the youth and brown people, all of it.
You are speeding down loser highway at 140 MPH and it shows. Carry on!
Coup has started. First of many steps. Impeachment will follow ultimately~WB attorney Mark Zaid, January 2017
CRT is a snack created by Fox to feed some angry bored old reptiles who watch ads for mesothelioma lawsuits while playing bingo.
