no, believing that critical thinking skills can only be taught by some college professor.
A sad commentary on we, as a people, and our viewpoint of our freedom can be summed up like this. We have liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans, yet those very people look at Constitutionalists as radical and extreme.................so those liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans must believe that the constitution is radical and extreme.

Right...a singularly-focused job that you did for 15-20 years straight.

So you were trained to do one thing and one thing only...direct traffic.

You didn't have to broaden your base of knowledge or skills any further than what was required of you for that specific role.

They're not taught in high school. And critical thinking does not mean criticizing someone. It means analyzing a concept into parts.

That tends to happen in homes with single mothers and multiple children.......but you probably consider that anecdotal as well.

but, as usual, given your extremely limited insight in to how government and military operate............

What I know is that it is a very narrowly-focused profession that requires specialized training in order to do competently.

What it doesn't require is a broad base of knowledge.

Someone who trains as an ATC isn't going to be able to do many other jobs than the one they trained specifically for, without having to start at the beginning and learn a new skill. It's not a very transferrable skill. A valuable one, sure. I never denied that. But it's not universal, it's not transferrable.

again, erroneous assumptions. I only served 6 years as a Marine. 5 being certified ATC. and if you think there's a singular focus to ATC, you'd just be wrong again.

again, because your knowledge base concerning anything related to the military is very narrow, extremely limited, almost defunct, you have no idea what you're talking about

So now you're trending towards sophistry. Fine.

All this tells me is that you don't have critical thinking skills.
