    Default What's to be preferred?

    Bad policy,

    or,

enlightened policy a bit diminished by a little insider corruption?

I'll take the somewhat corrupt enlightened policy every time.

We come out way ahead every time.'

The founders designed a system that depends on human compromise

Anyone who hates compromise while making law hates the founders idea

stop lying about the founders when you clearly hate them for being slave owners
A sad commentary on we, as a people, and our viewpoint of our freedom can be summed up like this. We have liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans, yet those very people look at Constitutionalists as radical and extreme.................so those liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans must believe that the constitution is radical and extreme.

You defend the Constitution much more than you should, evince. More than it deserves to be defended.

We agree on what it hoped to do--create a republic that would relentless try to make itself more perfect.
That was a truly wonderful intent.

It was a great first effort when the concept of a post Greco-Roman democratic republican was pretty novel.

Now, however, it must be judged on how well it actually works.
If we can clearly see where it went wrong, where the wording wasn't wise,
we should speak out about it.

If we're afraid to do so, we've got a national bible, not a constitution.

When one party decides that they will not allow the majority to do anything just so their party controls America

even when Americans chose the others parties ideas to be law

    that is anti Democracy

You hate that the founders wanted the majority of Americans to control their government

Because you are racist asshole who hates democracy and MOST of the American people

Your side has no moral leg to stand on

    IT WORKS!

the Republican Party has cheated the system for decades

    Face all the facts

The Republican Party members are traitors and their party needs to be torn to the ground because it’s evil

    The founders system is wonderful

Let’s actually use it instead of tolerating an evil criminal cheating party to subvert and destroy it

An honest look at facts doesn't bring one to this conclusion, 'vince.

The Constitution, taken literally, TOTALLY PROTECTS the malfeasance presently perpetrated by the Republicans.
Not liking it doesn't make it not true.
