Higher life forms can easily recognize organizations which attempt to practice the standards of professional journalism, aka CNN, Reuters, ABC, BBC, et al.

The average American seeing what great wealth is available is fooled into thinking it is poor people and immigrants that are taking their grand opportunities away. I read that if you make 50 K a year, the poor take 36 bucks off your taxes, the wealthy and corporations grab over 4 K. The wealthy win by keeping the poor and middle class hating each other and blaming each other. It is very successful. The posters here show that.
Read Teddy Roosevelts warnings about the rich. He started an estate tax to keep generational wealth from poisoning our politics and economy. The wealth chipped everything away until they have all the power now/

Everybody who thinks immigration is the problem holding prosperity of the masses back, should read this.

It's like, no, it's not the powerless who are preventing you from becoming much wealthier; it's those who have the power to control things.

    From your link:

"The Mars candy dynasty has seen its wealth increase 3,517% over the past 37 years, from $2.6 billion in 1983 (in 2020 dollars) to $94 billion by 2020. The family has also spent large sums on public policy advocacy to change tax laws."

    From Nordberg's link:

"According to the report, the children and grandchildren of some corporate executives—"who may be up to seven generations removed from the original source of their family's wealth"—tend to "focus less on creating new wealth and more on preserving existing systems that extract ongoing rents from consumers and the real economy.""

Hunh. So it's not immigrants at all that are holding the middle class back.

    From Nordberg's link:

""America's dynastic families, both old and new, are deploying a range of wealth preservation strategies to further concentrate wealth and power—power that is deployed to influence democratic institutions, depress civic imagination, and rig the rules to further entrench inequality," the authors wrote. "This tax avoidance means less support for the infrastructure we all rely on to preserve our health, safety, and quality of life.""
