There’s actually some question regarding that lol.

Face masks are worn in surgery as a matter of convention more than anything and because ‘it seems like’ it would be beneficial. In fact, surgical masks may be getting a second look after all this:

“Examination of the literature revealed much of the published work on the matter to be quite dated and often studies had poorly elucidated methodologies. As a result, we recommend caution in extrapolating their findings to contemporary surgical practice. However, overall there is a lack of substantial evidence to support claims that facemasks protect either patient or surgeon from infectious contamination. More rigorous contemporary research is needed to make a definitive comment on the effectiveness of surgical facemasks.”

Sound familiar? The literature on masks vs the CCP virus is all over the lot so it’s easy to cherry pick it to support a POV. But that’s also an indication the evidence in support of public mandates is weak.

I think the slam dunk on it is that mask mandates don’t correlate very strongly with decreases in case numbers and/or hospitalizations. If they correlate at all.

Thank you, Dr. Omar. Personally, I'm going with the Mask.

Not a study. Some parents simply sent 6 masks that their school kids wore for 5-8 hours off to a lab to be cultured.

In the medical field the standard of care is one mask per one patient contact. Strictly single use. Reason being is because they are considered contaminated after one patient contact. Not necessarily contaminated from the patient—just contaminated.

I always knew they would get back some positive cultures if they sent these masks that people wore for hours here and there. But this surprised even me.

    Pretty impressive list, eh?
In other news, kids have cooties.

The Texas/Florida approved covid masks weren't all that effective for some reason.

They weren't "effective" anywhere. Down here we have fresh air, sunshine and common sense.

best things you can do for Covid is be in good health."

Abortion rights dogma can obscure human reason & harden the human heart so much that the same person who feels
empathy for animal suffering can lack compassion for unborn children who experience lethal violence and excruciating
    pain in abortion.

Unborn animals are protected in their nesting places, humans are not. To abort something is to end something
which has begun. To abort life is to end it.

In FL and some other states they breathe the free air lol.

I gave up on the nasty face diapers some time ago and our state mandate [that’s largely been ignored for a month now] goes out of effect Sunday.

It's something called common sense. Something I'm certain you lack.
I hope you went out and bought a 1000 gallon tank so you could stock up. You know.. put your money where your mouth is kind of thing. Just think, you buy gas at $3 now and in 2 months you can sell it for $5 a gallon.

Think about that list next time your eating out.
And what happens to many of these pathogens when they get stuck on an extremely porous surface?
