We know that COVID often/sometimes fucks up brains, and we now know that the spike protein is all by itself dangerous, which is what the so-called vaccines produce....so I dont find the claim surprising in the least.
This illegal illegitimate regime that runs America is at fault...not me.... they do not represent me and I have long objected to their crimes against humanity.

Maybe the second Van Morrison collab was their breaking point. Several months after Eric Clapton first began spreading coronavirus misinformation, which recently culminated in an anti-vaccination and anti-lockdown crusade, the musician admitted that his coterie of famous pals have begun to cut off communication with him. “I’ve tried to reach out to fellow musicians,” he explained during an interview with YouTube free-speech channel which, for editorial purposes, we’re going to imagine was, like, Steve Winwood and Jimmy Page. “I just don’t hear from them anymore. My phone doesn’t ring very often. I don’t get that many texts and emails any more. It’s quite noticeable … I was ostracized. And I could feel that everywhere.”
Clapton reiterated that, although he decided to get a COVID vaccination for the sake of his children, he had “disastrous” reactions to the AstraZeneca vaccine that made him question the inherent good of jabs. “I feared I would never play again. I suffer with peripheral neuropathy and should never have gone near the needle,” he added. “But the propaganda said the vaccine was safe for everyone.” In May, Clapton used the same “propaganda” argument in an open letter obtained by Rolling Stone, in which he praised conspiratorial-leaning YouTube channels and the work he released with Morrison. “It’s hard to bite my tongue with what I now know,” he added about his theories. Suddenly, all of the southern stops on Clapton’s 2021 tour make total sense.

It also gave him writer's block and limited his stylistic growth rate. Astra Zeneca forced him to stay in the pentatonic box copying black musicians from 100 years ago.

We wouldn’t have rock or blues without the Pentatonic box.

So Clapton is out of the herd mentality box. Good for him.

Clapton said side effects then left him “out for the count for about a week,” and severely worsened his existing peripheral neuropathy, leading to “agony” and “chronic pain.”,,He added that the second dose left him unable to use his hands for three weeks, and that he still
“can’t touch anything cold or hot” without the use of gloves.

During the first UK lockdown in 2020, Clapton said he began to consume “alternative data” about the pandemic on YouTube and from the group of academics behind the Great Barrington Declaration, whose call for ‘focussed protection’ for those at risk from coronavirus and a return to normal life for all others has been widely criticised by numerous public health bodies including the World Health Organisation.

but you were okay with schools shutting down for a year to protect the children, why object if a parent uses the same reason to get a vaccination......

That sucks for anyone but especially for a guitar player.

But if he took the jab for his kids how did he not know better? That should be *the last* reason to take it.

It started with lower back pain, and turned into what they call peripheral neuropathy – which is where you feel like you have electric shocks going down your leg… I’ve had to figure out how to deal with some other things from getting old.”
