Default And now we have Tuesday’s mass shooting,

“At least 2 dead, 2 injured in early morning shooting at Alabama plant”
    https://abcnews.go.com/US/dead-injur...ry?id=78286918

As American as apple pie, and the right’s solution, more guns out there with even less restrictions

Real regulation of guns, at the very least, treat them just like we treat vehicles with all the same registration requirements, license prerequisites, and liability insurance

No, but vehicular happens a whole lot less than gun homicides, and for a reason

It's not because of the things you mentioned. The fact is the ONLY way to PREVENT mass shootings is complete confiscation of guns and the prohibition of manufacturing. You don't want that do you? Let me ask you a question, I own many weapons but one is a .38 special 5 shot revolver. The definition of mass shooting is killing 3 people in one location. With that .38 special I could conceivably kill 5 people in one location. Should i be allowed to possess it? BTW everyone of my weapons is registered.

there are over 20 thousand different state and federal gun laws on the books right now.........and you want MORE????? how about 'no'.
A sad commentary on we, as a people, and our viewpoint of our freedom can be summed up like this. We have liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans, yet those very people look at Constitutionalists as radical and extreme.................so those liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans must believe that the constitution is radical and extreme.

Two things, first, every mass shooting has three common variables; the shooter, the place, and the gun. We can never know who the next shooter will be. We can do out best to defend the most vulnerable locations, but can’t cover them all. However the one variable we can control is that which makes it all possible, the weapon. If one is serious on addressing mass shootings access to the gun is where they start

Secondly, confiscation of guns has never been an actual policy on regulation, no one is coming to grab your whatever, and your vehicle is also registered, but you don’t just register it once, and just registering a vehicle isn’t all one does to keep and operate a vehicle

Almost all of those laws are aimed at the end user.

For gun laws to be effective, they have to be aimed at the manufacturers and sellers.

There needs to be a restriction on how many guns can be manufactured and sold in this country as well as the number and type that can be owned.

    They can keep their gun

    We can grandfather it in

You already own one legally then you can keep it

When it leaves your hands it goes to the government and they pay you for it and then melt it the fuck down

You can not give it away to anyone

No one can inherit it from you

No one can buy it from you

    Again

If you are done with owning the gun the government pays you for it

    It then belongs to them

And they melt it the fuck down

If a gun changes hands out side of this both the seller and the new possessor are in big trouble

Nope. I want people to qualify for gun ownership. They should be tested and regulated. They are not. Most angry rightys would not qualify.
