Georgia’s secretary of state said Monday that his office will probe Fulton County after an election official there said forms verifying the chain of custody for some mail-in ballots went missing.

“New revelations that Fulton County is unable to produce all ballot drop box transfer documents will be investigated thoroughly, as we have with other counties that failed to follow Georgia rules and regulations regarding drop boxes. This cannot continue,” Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger said in a statement.

Raffensperger previously announced similar probes in Coffee, Grady, and Taylor counties. In doing so, he alleged that the state’s other 120 counties had properly completed absentee ballot transfer forms.

Earlier Monday, Mariska Bodison with the county’s Board of Registration and Elections admitted that “a few forms are missing” when asked for documentation on approximately 19,000 absentee ballots that were said to have been placed in drop boxes.

The forms that are not available at this time would detail the chain of custody for the ballots. They are required by law.

I channel surf....usually with the tv sound down and playing Spotify on my sound system. I'll listen to the news in the morning with my coffee, but it's the same shit all day long unless something big happens. Mainly I skip between Fox and CNN to see what they're whining about that day. I do have the CC on.

Despite constant one-sided negative news coverage by the big three TV networks, President Donald Trump’s public approval rating rose slightly in 2018, according to a new report from the Media Research Center (MRC). MRC analyzed the ABC, CBS, and NBC evening newscasts, which were seen by approximately 23 million people each night.

“The tone of coverage remains incessantly hostile: 90% negative, vs. just 10% positive (excluding neutral statements),” MRC’s Rich Noyes reported Tuesday. “Yet despite the media’s obvious disapproval, public opinion of the President actually improved slightly during 2018, from an average 40% approval on January 1 to 42.7% approval on December 31, according to RealClearPolitics.”
