Leaving the literal insanity aspect aside, he’s wrong. ‘Birthing person’ could be applied any person who is involved in child birth, from OB docs, midwives to OB nurses. It’s not more precise it’s decidedly *less* precise.

But we can’t offend the 0.02% of the population that finds the word ‘mother’ to be offensive.
