Default For your consideration: Covid vaccinations

When this pandemic first started, I joked to a friend that I was afraid my seasonal allergies would be mistaken for being infected, and I would subsequently be beaten to death by a crowd in a supermarket and then set afire.

Dark humor and silly exaggerations.....but given how we are now facing all these "protocols" to publicly interact in society, I find this analysis from March of this year still relevant. What do you think?

I think we’re on the cusp of a kind of medical apartheid—if it’s not stopped.

There are reports of a high incidence of myocarditis in some vaccinated young people whose risk of mortality from Covid approaches zero. And yet, they insist on pressing on with vaccinating them. It makes absolutely no sense. It’s insane, in fact.

A little leadership from the top would be nice, but yeah.

It's actually not insane at all. It's about getting rid of COVID once and for all. Ya know...like we did w/ polio & stuff?

Because if it hangs around, it keeps evolving. And one of these days, that won't look too pretty.

then do some more serious testing on the vaccines first..........otherwise, the whole segregation shit is gonna get ugly as fuck
A sad commentary on we, as a people, and our viewpoint of our freedom can be summed up like this. We have liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans, yet those very people look at Constitutionalists as radical and extreme.................so those liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans must believe that the constitution is radical and extreme.

We going to get rid of the flu next?

It’s alarmingly likely that this wouldn’t be a problem except for GOF research in China that was facilitated by our tax dollars. Thanks in no small part, to doctor Fauci.

But that little tidbit was kept under wraps. It wasn’t ‘convenient’ for that to get out ‘too soon’.

    There is an outrage brewing.

    A non-answer answer.

This issue has become too political to some. Objectively, it's a no brainer.

How much time are you thinking for more serious testing? A year? Maybe 2?

I think Covid-19 is here to stay, but it will become less dangerous over time. Depriving people of basic freedoms over a refusal to undergo a given medical treatment is a terrifying thought and it could be an extremely slippery slope.

It's also important to get to the bottom of what caused the outbreak, hold the responsible parties accountable and do our best to prevent further pandemics.

    Logically, it’s absurd.

Vaccinate the elderly and infirm. Everyone else goes about their business.

To everyone else the Covid mortality rate is flu like. It’s not even flu like to healthy young people. It’s not common, but the flu actually claims young people and infants.

And Fauci needs fired or at least be forced to step aside and stop giving his ‘advice’ on how to handle what’s left of the pandemic he probably had a hand in creating. At least until we get to the bottom of this.

But that will take some leadership.

And, by your plan, COVID hangs around for years, mutates, and becomes something much worse.

What are you basing your recommendations on, anyway? You claim that COVID is just like the flu, but then overstate the "risk" of vaccinations to the point of hyperbole.

    It's all agenda.

actually, it does have some merit. If there are countries creating virus', the only logical reason to do so would be to implement bio warfare...........that's a major issue

I doubt the economy would ever recover.

Millions of people have been vaccinated. Many millions. It's really no big deal.

Whether Covid is ‘just like the flu’ depends on what population you’re talking about. To healthy young people Covid is *less* lethal than the flu. To nursing home residents it’s deadly.

If/when young people get it, they recover and become immune. Same thing as taking the jab but without the risks associated with the vaccine.

I realize you don’t want to talk about Fauci but this is some serious bullshit. He has no business giving ‘advice’ on anything Covid related until this is cleared up.

you cant eradicate it by vaccine.
herd immunity should suppress it to the point it becomes latent (still around but not reported infectious cases)

recall vaxx isnt the only way to achieve herd immunity - and in young people there is no need and a real question
of damages from the vaxx. Kids and young people are mostly asymptomatic ,
but have antibodies B cells and T-cells that confer long term immunity

Virus come and go. herd immunity is how they go.
