You couldn't understand him at any point? Did you know exactly what he was talking about at every moment, even when he was being evasive? Tangential? Again, he's articulate but in the narrow range of manipulating a crowd that is already on his side.

It's one thing to just blabber on, but it's another to read a crowd. He does this very well as described before. Another example is his UN speech where the audience laughed at him. It was outside his comfort zone, but he knew he had to do it to be credible. Even though the audience laughed, he recovered quickly and moved on. Some people couldn't recover so quickly...but then most people are pushing their country's agenda at the UN, not their own.
