If the universe is boundless, then an infinite number of planets with complex life forms would likely exist.
That would not explain how the hell they could get here, however.

Even if they could somehow survive a journey through lightyears of travel, why wouldn't we see them from a distance before they were already in our atmosphere?

To NiftyNiblick: I will settle for:

    phenomenon (noun)
    plural phenomena (-ne)

    1. An occurrence, a circumstance, or a fact that is perceptible by the senses.

    2. plural phenomenons.. a. An unusual, significant, or unaccountable fact or occurrence; a marvel. b. A remarkable or outstanding person; a paragon. See synonyms at wonder.

    3. Philosophy.
    a. That which appears real to the mind, regardless of whether its underlying existence is proved or its nature understood. b. In Kantian philosophy, the appearance of an object to the mind as opposed to its existence in and of itself, independent of the mind.

    4. Physics. An observable event.

Take my sighting for what it is worth.

Many years ago when I was on a ship below the equator an object appeared in outer space. If I remember right, the mate described it as twice the size of a planet. I think he said Neptune. His word carried some weight because he was the navigator and a trained observer. The sighting(s) was unusual because the object appeared two nights in a row.

To make a long boring story short, objects usually travel straight across the sky —— from one horizon to the other. The object that I and the mate on watch saw at the time disappeared halfway across the sky then disappeared. It either went straight up or made a U-turn giving the appearance of going straight up. The second night the master and one or two others saw it.

About a week or so later, both international editions of Time and Newsweek magazines reported that more UFOs were reported worldwide than at any other time previously.

Fun fact: Christiefan915 lives in the epicenter of the furry universe and is obsessed with cats.

You can figure out the rest.

There may be unexplained thing in the atmosphere. There obviously are, in fact.
I just doubt that it's from other civilizations in the universe.

To me, that's seeing hoofprints and guessing zebras.
Some of it could very likely be space "junk" from all the crap that we've shot up there.
Some of it could be atmospheric conditions causing light to refract, thus creating optical illusions [like puddles on the highway on a hot day; when you get there. there's none].

Then again, I couldn't PROOVE that it's not "little green people."
For reasons mentioned in my previous post, though, I just strongly doubt it.
What could survive a trip that would take so long?
If it's just mechanical like our space probes and didn't have to live that long, why wouldn't we track it earlier on its approach?

Not something I know about; just what I think.

Sorry, shit stain, 1000's of Nazis didn't die. The US, via Operation Paperclip, brought 1000's into the US and set them up with jobs. The Middle East, France, Spain, italy and Argentina to name a few, helped 1000's more escape safely with the loot they plundered from Europe. The Middle East was involved with the Nazis since the 1920's, and escaped nazis helped train Egyptian armies, to name one. What to you think they have taught their children? Many people think what we are seeing here today is the continuation of the Nazi desire to destroy the west, and you useful IDIOTS are helping.

Do You Believe in UFOs? An Actual Answer May Be Near

I understand why organized religion is making a comeback in product advertising. What better way to sell a product than tie it to a hybrid.
A century from now product commercials will be added to the long list of myths:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...es_in_folklore

NOTE: Disney et al. made fortunes selling toys of their talking animals, and nobody cashed in on the secondary market more than:

No no no science is the new religion for leftists. In traditional religions "Thus says the Lord..." was often heard because the authoritative word of God was about to be spoken. In the new religion of the left it's, "Experts say..." or sometimes "Studies show...".
