Liam Julian at Flypaper points out that teachers who teach the courses with a Mexican-American perspective in Tucson are invited to attend a seminar in which they work with leading scholars in the areas of “Latino critical race theory, critical race theory, critical multicultural education, Chicana/o studies, ethnic studies, cultural studies, critical pedagogy, and critical race pedagogy.” He concludes: “It’s incredible.”

This was 2008, over a decade ago.

Although much of the stuff that was available on the internet back then is no longer there (a big problem with our increasingly ephemeral digital world), the program held summer seminars to teach the teachers. The guest speakers were a who's who of the most radical Leftist Socialists and Communists in university education programs.

I worked with a reporter from the Arizona Republic, Doug MacEachern, on this including feeding him a detailed analysis of their bogus statistics on the program's effectiveness.

I went head-to-head with a couple of the teachers back then on the Arizona Republic's website and message boards. They were royally pissed over people not siding with them. Their argument was essentially I'm a teacher in the program so I know better than some random person what's going on with it... never offering a shred of evidence beyond that. They were defending the indefensible and they knew it.

It isn't per se a "conspiracy" but rather a cabal of radical Leftists starting from the 60's that have worked their way into academia, gotten tenure, and begun teaching radical Leftist, Communist, theories to their students. Those students, after years of indoctrination, have gone on to spread this bullshit into public education and the university system far and wide. What you are seeing now is just the broadening of this rubbish into the K-12 public school system.

My bet is their next move will be to make every effort to eradicate charter schools, alternative education programs, home schooling, and any other form of alternative education to force every child into their indoctrination and propaganda mill. Communists and Fascists of every stripe did that once in power. Can't have the kids thinking for themselves...

The problem is that it does work in business. It is infiltrating the liberal arts side of businesses, like Human Resources departments. Sure, it won't fly with engineers and accountants, but much like the Pointy Hair Boss or Catbert in the comic Dilbert, the liberal arts majors that have been fed years of this are becoming the administrators and managers of businesses. With that they are making their companies incorporate this crap into their corporate culture.

There is a serious issue here, Fox OAN Newsmax are propaganda sites full of lies and an unbalanced reporting of the daily happening of politics etc in America and the world. Their viewers are misinformed, lied too really. While education matters, a fair and balanced media helps everyone understand important issues.

Going forward it is important Americans call a spade a spade. The republican party today is fascist and not democratic. Democracy does not appeal to fascists. That is clearly evident in the lack of support for an investigation about Jan 6th.

Much of the above chatter is just name calling. Words have come to be a substitute for thought. Woke conservatives use leftist and other terms as if they mean something, when they are only labels that ignore the reality of life today. It is a kind of trained response in which 'dark money', 'invisible hands', and power came to dominate the minds of the uneducated or easily led. Watching Fox OAN and Newsmax reminds one of what Russian or China media must be like. There is no news but rather biased opinion which asked questions that solicit opinion while they smirk like they are telling something deep. Watching their faces is kinda funny, are Hannity and Carlson gassy or is this supposed to be a serious face? Really kinda weird. OAN hosts may be even be more gassy. Watch them if you doubt. What is the intention of strained faces. Fake angst?
