So far only 10 Israelis have been killed in the melee!

Well, for one main reason- ISRAEL HAS A US made PATRIOT MISSILE DEFENSE SYSTEM! Another reason is the missiles HAMAS are using are basically Fireworks and cheap overgrown Bottle Rockets!

And many of these rockets fired by HAMAS are actually falling into the Gaza strip and actually killing Palestinians. So far over 350 have fallen into the strip!

And the destroyed incoming rockets being intercepted by the Patriot missiles and all the debris are also falling into the Gaza Strip and killing Palestinians.

The Israelis have effective missile defense systems that actually work while the Palestinians are using stuff cooked up by guys with an eighth grade education, if that, because they're 'tards who think it's cool to be in what amounts to a street gang.
