Exactly....anyone expecting SCOTUS to constrain the Revolution by supporting the Constitution generally is dreaming...this court has not measured up in many decades.
This illegal illegitimate regime that runs America is at fault...not me.... they do not represent me and I have long objected to their crimes against humanity.

Biden had no involvement with this case. It was between a private citizen and the town of Cranston. Biden's Justice Department did not even enter a friend of the court brief. The Biden Administration had literally nothing to do with this.

Yep. No clue what the Biden Admin has to do with this. The only thing is the red flag laws.

The wife was a resident of the house, and gave them access. The gaining access was almost certainly fine. She gave the gun to the police, so that was probably constitutional(but this is where it gets gray). Then the police kept the gun, even after both Caniglia and his wife asked for it back. That is what the Supreme Court had a problem with.

Dont make the mistake of assuming that SCOTUS will support gun rights in future case....this is a court that likes to make deals....because they dont deal in justice anymore.....they are now a purely political body......with declining influence is the idiot Americans begin to wise up.

We have no way to know the fix...they work in secret.....because they suck.

The Supreme Court weighed when police can enter homes without a warrant.

The Biden administration is urging the court to side with the officers.

The case is Caniglia v. Strom, 20-157.

It was followed by Indiana, which adopted its legislation—called Jake Laird's Law, after an Indianapolis police officer was fatally shot by a mentally disturbed man—in 2005.

The U.S. Supreme Court ruled unanimously Monday that law enforcement cannot legally enter homes without a warrant even in cases where doing so may benefit the public interest, striking down the suggestion from law enforcement and the Biden administration that doing so under a “community caretaking” exception would be justified.

The case, Caniglia v. Strom, considered whether police acted lawfully by entering a man’s home and removing his firearms without a warrant after he had expressed thoughts of suicide and was taken to the hospital for a psychiatric evaluation.

    Great to see it.
Gun goobers should not only be allowed, but encouraged to commit suicide.
