Excess deaths in the USA is 597,490, which is higher than the number most often given of Covid-19 deaths of 558,060. That would indicate that the number is an underestimate. Especially, when you throw in the lower number of deaths caused by influenza and other contagious diseases caused by social distancing. There are countries with negative excess deaths, like Taiwan.

Taiwan has 10 deaths officially from Covid-19, but negative 5,880 excess deaths. Because we know that Covid-19 cannot give people life, we know the negative excess deaths is due to social distancing. We have saved lives with social distancing too. So the actual number of Covid-19 deaths must be above the excess deaths.

First off, 223 deaths out of millions vaccinated isn’t a bad statistic. My guess is that by and large the victims had some serious comorbid factors. Or that they just happened to die of something else while being infected.

But the dying with vs dying from Covid controversy is back. Except this time it’s being invoked by the vaccine passport crowd. Team Reality spent the better part of a year pointing out how the ‘dying with’ category was artificially inflating the Covid mortality statistics.

But now that the Bad Orange Man is out of the way and they no longer need inflated death statistics for political purposes—we find out that Team Reality had a legitimate criticism all along.
