What reputable publisher would want to be associated with Josh Hawley?

Who's their consumer base, Joe Sixpack in a MAGA cap or "snobby elites" who can actually read?

Well, looks as though the OP may be exaggerating a bit. Retrieved from Amazon, just now:

So every publisher who fails to publish something has cancelled it? That would make almost every book cancelled by most publishers. Your "censorship" is everywhere.

It is not like trump's plan to buy stories of his hiring women for sex with illegal campaign contributions, and then blocking all publication of them.

gosh, I wonder if the "reputable" publisher thought about that before they entered into a contract to publish his book.......

They bought the option to publish it. If they did not want to exercise that option, Hawley had the contractional right to find another publisher. It is a common contract, entered into by millions of authors.

Meanwhile, trump had the absolute rights to stories against him bought from people who thought they would be published. When the publishers refused to publish these stories, they had no right to publish in other places. This is a silencing of the truth, using illegal campaign contributions.

There was no contract to publish the book. If there was, he could sue for breach of contract. There was an option to publish the book, that they decided not to exercise.
