Israel is much worse than Hamas (Hamas is also bad).

Israel has the power and control. They are all-powerful to Palestinians. They have been taking Palestinian homes as policy. One Israeli said if I didn't take their home, then someone else would. What a crappy justification. It feels like what America did to the Indians. It does not matter what was said or what deals were made. They were coming. There is always an excuse.

I usually don’t agree with Thomas Friedman, but I do in this case.
“Like Trump, both Bibi and Hamas have kept power by inspiring and riding waves of hostility to “the other.” They turn to this tactic anytime they are in political trouble. Indeed, they each have been the other’s most valuable partner in that tactic ever since Netanyahu was first elected prime minister in 1996 — on the back of a wave of Hamas suicide bombings...
No, Hamas and Bibi don’t talk. They don’t need to. They each understand what the other needs to stay in power and consciously or unconsciously behave in ways to ensure that they deliver it.”

Descended, most of them, from the original stone-age inhabitants, like most populations outside the European colonies, the Palestinians were doubtless Jewish by religion at one time, or Christian, before the majority converted to Islam, as did so many elsewhere. The Zionist settlers are mainly, of course, descendants of converted Khazars, with an excellent claim to part of the Ukraine.
I generally have confidence in Iolo's observations and comments,
but the Middle East is a hellhole that I'd rather not think about at all.
We already have hellholes like Florida and Texas about which we must be concerned, at least until partition.
