It appears most are in their 80s or 90s. One wonders if most of them even knew what they were signing.

It looks like a lot of the same former military that signed this letter

I wonder what happened to those that signed the first letter and didn't sign this one.

It would have something to do with violating the oath they took when they were promoted to flag officers.

No doubt JPP libs will dismiss this, the same libs who touted a half-dozen or so military generals who dissed Trump, calling them brave heroes.
These crazy old white grandpas are far outnumbered...

Joe Biden endorsed, Trump excoriated by nearly 500 retired top military, national security official

Former U.S. Military Leaders Sign Bizarre Open Letter Pushing Election Lies

A cursory glance at the 124 signatories shows them to be almost uniformly white men who have not served in the military for decades. Most are also only one or two-star generals or admirals. (“I covered the military for a very long time. The most remarkable thing about this list is how few names I recognize on it,” veteran Washington Post reporter Greg Jaffe noted on Twitter.)

Among its other more well-known signatories are retired Army Brig. Gen. Don Bolduc, a U.S. Senate candidate in New Hampshire; retired Army Lt. Gen. William Boykin, a virulent anti-Muslim bigot who now heads up the anti-LGBTQ Family Research Council; and retired Vice Adm. John Poindexter, best known for being convicted for his role in the Iran-Contra Affair as national security adviser for President Ronald Reagan.

A Modest Proposal For Separating Blue States From Red

    Dear Red-State Trump Voter,
Let’s face it, guys: We’re done.

It is a tragedy that so much of the work that so many men and women toiled at for so long to make this a better country, and a better world, has been thrown away, leaving us all in such needless peril.

This is why our separation in all but name is necessary.

Same oath they took as 2LTs and Ensigns. Officers retake the oath with every promotion. Oaths are forever, but legally, AFAIK, no military personnel have been charged with violating their oath after leaving service. A few have been stripped of their pensions and benefits. Signing a letter isn't an actionable offense but I could be wrong.

wow ... YOU made it sound as if there was some SPECIAL oath for flag officers ... it also would not surprise me if this is the same oath the enlisted take whenever they re-up

Wow, you're dumber than I thought. I wasn't me who you asked, dumbass.

Obviously you never served. The oaths are not the same for officers and enlisted.
