Sal's cranked up around 11 p.m. Hundreds of old jews standing in line.
Everything was half-off. My fave was hot pastrami on rye and a slice of devil's food chocolate cake and milk.

Idk, but that icing was made with lard. It was so good, though!
With that cold milk in a Sal's glass, hard to beat!
There was a decent Bavarian restaurant a block away.
I'd assume all that is gone now. Good times back in the day, though.
