DeSantis is a fucking idiot, as is anybody who doesn't see him for that.

I've got former relatives living in The Villages who actually voted for the steaming pile of pigshit.
I can't force them to change their surnames, unfortunately.

    They're even older than I.
When they die, if they're not dead already, I'll never hear about it.
I wish the fuck I never met them in the first place.

    Same point applies.

FWIW, I think the Christian bakers got screwed. Business owners should be able to both apply common sense protections for their businesses, such as shirt and shoes, or abide by their religious convictions.

There are better ways to handle such problems than the sledgehammer of Federal or State governments smashing business owners.

DeSantis is trying to have government control private companies, which is the opposite of capitalism. The cruise ship industry is in trouble, so I doubt there will be much replacing going on. DeSantis' government control will push the remaining cruise lines out of Florida, hurting Florida worse.

Next DeSantis will create an executive order that says hospitals can not "discriminate" against high school dropouts who never went to medical school when hiring doctors.

Walt! Did you take your medications today? You're a bit irrational...

A sad commentary on we, as a people, and our viewpoint of our freedom can be summed up like this. We have liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans, yet those very people look at Constitutionalists as radical and extreme.................so those liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans must believe that the constitution is radical and extreme.

Forcing cruise lines to illegally spread diseases? That is your idea of a good regulation?

It really doesn't matter. Cruise ships have to go between points, which is the whole concept of a ship. Florida is the only point banning vaccine certificates. All other reasonable points are banning the lack of vaccine certificates. So a cruise line has a choice, they can go between all other points, or they can sit at one point, Florida.

Cruise ships can not operate with Covid-19 spreading on their ships. What "King" DeSantis is ordering is just not possible.

I could even understand if he said the State of Florida is not going to get involved. But, him ordering cruise lines to pack sick people on board is just crazy.

And so it begins. The vaccine proof battle. And the Trumptard position will be that private businesses shouldn't be allowed to deny service to people. You know, they LOVE free enterprise. Until they hate it. That being said, DeSantis can't stop private enterprises from creating vaccine passport apps, he can't stop Norwegian Cruise lines from using that app, and he can't stop ME from sharing my personal information with that app. So I doubt DeSantis's order will do jack shit to stop companies from banning the unvaccinated idiots.
