I myself believe in a flat tax. Pick a percentage.....we all pay the same. From the dishwasher to the CEO. ALL THE SAME. No deductions or writeoffs. Everyone doing their part,....skin in the game. I MAY even be talked into a small national sales tax on everything but essentials like food, medical, heating fuel, ect. Far too many people bitch about income taxes that they themselves have never paid.

Nonsense you have to dig deep to find any country that does this, because it is regressive and just a stupid idea to transfer taxes away from the wealthiest people in this country. That literally is all that a flat tax achieves. So when people support that nonsense it is because they support that completely. Add in the fact that it is horrible for capitalism and economy.
