The recent Alt Left racists attack attack of Senator Tim Scott has caught me by surprise. It's shameful that they can talk about a black man in those racist terms. And some plantation owners were black. I toured some plantations in Natchitoches Parish the Melrose was owned by a black woman. She was gifted the land by her French lover and she owned slaves to operate the plantation.
