I'm really disappointed with the RepubliQan Party. They seem to be run by a bunch of wannabee celebrities who think they're in a reality TV show. It's really embarrassing to see Republican members of Congress like MTG The Qanon Woman, Ted Cruz, Matt Gaetz, Jim Jordan act so Puerile and jejune and know they're part of the team that's running our country.
Judge Juan M. Merchan wrote that Trump “appears to take the position that his situation and this case are unique and that the pre-trial publicity will never subside. However, this view does not align with reality.”

For the sake of discussion let me ask you this. (and since tone can be difficult to deduce sometimes on here I'm speaking as if we're two friends hanging out and having a beer) You are free of course not to respond, tell me to F off, etc.
As a Republican I have no issue with people calling out Republicans because I don't believe any politician is above reproach. In that vain however it's a two way street and we can sit here and call out Democrats as well. Do you have issues with any Democrats? Do any of them embarrass you? Because sadly what we see in politics, like we do on this board, is pure tribalism. Your side will gather and talk sh*t about Republicans and my side will do the same about Democrats. Then we all feel good about ourselves in our echo chambers and that we 'owned' the other side and all the while nothing ever changes.
I was a registered Republican for 40 years and of course there are embarrassments on both sides of the aisle. Just look at the bonehead who said people need to be confrontational if Chauvin is acquitted. Politicians say stupid things but I have trouble finding a dem who can match the idiotic statements coming from Ted Cruz, MGT and Gaetz. They sound more like Southern Televangelists preaching to their herd than our public servants.
