Not unusual for cops in prison.

Don't tell me you thought he'd be in general population..

Sucks to be him, he's gonna be locked down like people that are cannibals n stuff.
    No contact with other people.
Like being in the hole the entire time he's locked up.
To think my friend only went there for 10 days at a stretch because he broke a nigger's jaw. Several times. Several 10 days in the hole.
I think 1 time he did 30 days.
He got off better than that Chauvin dude.
He's free AFAIK to this day.

Another thing that we are not allowed to know.

A fact that should alarm you.
I like the Chinese, they're more afraid of their government than we are.

My thoughts exactly. He is in with the ex-police officers, pedophiles, suicidal, and everyone else in a huge amount of danger in general population.

Segregation is different than the hole. He will be in a normal cell, and will have contact with other people. He just will not have unobserved contact with other people. He is not being punished by being put in the hole.

Anyone else not surprised that Matt hangs out with convicts? Did you meet him in jail?

I sat down and started skimming and I kept skimming till my Aunt wanted to go. I was intrigued and I was disturbed that it was so plausible, but in the end I said "Well maybe someday, but I dont think I will have to live through it, certainly things are not disintegrating that rapidly".

Well After Iraq and after the Great Recession I changed my mind.

I wish I had bought that damn book!
We have the internet, and cell phones which we did not have in 1994. There have been a lot of advancements. The rough definition of a dark ages is shrinking trade, which we are not having.

Admittedly the Western Roman Empire's dark ages were gradual. When the last emperor was disposed, there were still Romans living very Roman lives. They did not notice a collapse for almost a hundred years. But they did notice a stagnation. I see no stagnation. If anything, things are moving too quickly.

The Iraq War and the Great Recession were small compared to the Great Depression and WWII. Will you claim we came out of them in a dark ages?

Chauvin has not been convicted of a federal crime, so he cannot be transferred to a federal prison. Even if he were convicted of a federal crime, they would usually let him serve out his state sentence, before he started on his federal sentence. Even if they had him serve his federal sentence first, having to go back to a state sentence would mean he can only stay in a maximum or super max prison.

His best hope is either the judge gives him an extremely light sentence, or a governor pardons or commutes his sentence. I would not hold my breath for either if I were him.

????......the dark ages were about a shrinking population.....like by the millions, due to plagues and war......trade was hardly a concern at the time.......

Also, it's standard procedure to separate a prisoner who is highly likely to be assaulted. Certainly not special treatment.

So in your ignoramus view, his sentence should be death, even though they don't have the death penalty in Minnesota. Can't say I'm surprised, but thanks for confirming. Idiot.
